Worldwide reach

The end of our celebratory conference today, which by all accounts has been a huge success and on which more will appear here soon, gives me a moment now to update the list of media stories about the completion of the Dictionary.

That the finishing of the Dictionary drew so much attention in the UK came as quite a surprise (to me at least, especially with the totally unexpected invitation onto the BBC Breakfast sofa) but on the back of that it has been picked up far and wide across the world. Stories have appeared not only in the media in Europe, in Germany and the Netherlands (both countries that have participated in the original UAI scheme), but we have also featured further afield, in India and Israel.
